12th Anniversary of PANCAP
I am proud of my association with PANCAP from its very inception 12 years ago today, when I and five others signed the PANCAP Declaration in Barbados. The records show that this partnership has been a success and has lived up to its reputation as an international best practice. As PANCAP continues to evolve and respond to the changing times, let us renew our pledge made at the 10th Annual General Meeting in St Maarten in November 2010: to eliminate mother to child transmission by 2105, to achieve greater shared responsibility, including financial sustainability, and to remove the scourge of stigma and discrimination, that fan the flames of HIV and AIDS. I am sure that I speak on behalf of my colleagues throughout the Pan- Caribbean in commending PANCAP for this achievement.
